Ali Chick

Ali Chick - GD / WA/ WD

Netball History:  Ali has been playing netball now for almost 20 years. She played club netball for the majority of these and has been an active contributor to the running of the clubs. Previous to joining ONC, she played for a London club in the Croydon and Surrey League and captained these teams for a number of years. Her favourite position now is circle defence, but this is a relatively new discovery for Ali having been a mid court player for the majority of her netball career. As well as being versatile, Ali is a strong on court communicator, maintains positivity throughout and feeds off her team mates pushing to the end.

So why Netball? She loves the team camaraderie, the competitiveness and simply the fun of the game.

Titbits: Although Ali continues to play with a passion, she did try to give up netball a few years ago ... but found the pull to play too hard!  ONC are thankful for sure, that she kept it up :)
