Both the Olveston teams played their first game of the Avon Netball league 2013/14 season today.  Players showed up re-vitalized after their summer holidays and raring to go in to their first match.  Both games were played with a high level of energy and enjoyed by all.  A good start to what we think will be a very successful season!

More congratulations are due - this time to our first team who have been promoted to Avon Netball League's Division 10 for the 2013/14 season. Great result you guys!!!

Many congratulations to the Olveston Grassroots squad, where medals were won for a well earned second place!  The tourny was a great success organised by Kelly of PSL Panthers, with part of the proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation - in memory of Nuria from Wired.  Both Vicky and Julie won prizes in the raffle and will soon be enjoying a massage, and spa day respectively.  Nicky was nominated by her own team for Players Player, but every person made their mark - a fantastic day and a great team effort! 

Goooooood luuuuuuuck to all the peeps playing the Panthers PSL Tournament this Sunday!  Be sure to take plenty of sun cream and and a never ending supply of water ;)

Last nights final game in the summer league caught us “on a roll”.  Supporters on the sideline encouraged the play and despite the extreme heat, a wholly energetic game was played resulting in a well-earned win.
