Fantastic first games from both teams to what we know will be a great season for the club.  A good crowd of supporters and the coach hot footing it from one venue to another to support both teams, success just seemed to be in the air.  It was the debut game playing for Olveston for several new players (Ali L, Katie L, Laura M and Lydia), all of whom played their hearts out.  Although POM is not often mentioned here, Sara Sage deserved a massive high five for her 1st team performance - interceptor extraordinaire! During the summer three potentential Back to Netballers joined us for a taster session. All have joined. Helen Watkins, Emma Rossiter and Ria Blakemore - lovely to have you here :)

Following a humungus amount of team effort, ONC threw their first charity tournament on Saturday 27th June.  There was wonderful turnout for the day, with competitors enjoying their games in a downpour of sunhine.  A cake stall, bbq, homemade icecream, raffle and games gallore meant a well earned donation of over £700 will be heading towards Thrombosis UK.  Grand job you guys - yet another reason to be proud Olveston Netball Club!
